The Plan

This diagram shows the particular areas in the church that we’d like to improve. The look of the church will be largely unchanged, except in the areas marked 4a and 4b where we intend to remove the Victorian pews to enable this part of the church to be used much more flexibly, with new stackable chairs to cater for a variety of uses.

Going Green

When the South Chapel roof is repaired, we intend to install solar panels and the associated batteries as part of our  commitment to sustainable energy.
There are restrictions and regulations about what we are  allowed to alter in this building, but the Church of England authorities are very supportive of our plans.

The Nitty Gritty Details

Here in the Blueprints you can see all the details and where the changes will be happening.

Among many changes, you can see here a large performance dais added and pews removed, creating flexible space for a multitude of community uses
